This gorgeous 8wt, 2-ply 100% long staple Egyptian cotton thread is double-gassed and mercerized, resulting in a wonderfully smooth and lustrous surface that allows the thread to glide beautifully through all types of fabrics.
I use this thread for hand quilting when I want a showier thread. It is soft enough to pull through the layers without a fight and you don’t have to squint to see it :-). 8wt Eleganza is also lovely to use in embroidery.
The luscious colors in this set were chosen by Alison Glass and they are almost too pretty to hide away in a bin.
If you run out of a particular color in this set, please do let me know. I plan to stock at least some of the individual colors as time goes on.
